From COABC: What is organic? To the farmers growing food and getting their hands dirty every day, organic is everything. A way of life, a way forward to a better food system, and, of course, a way to grow healthy, delicious food that is good for people and the planet. This is our Manifesto. with Mary Alice Johnson and Keeley Nixon of ALM Organic Farm

What's in a seed? For farmers, seeds are pure magic, a symbol of life, and full of possibility. From the seeds they lovingly plant in the earth each season, to the seeds of knowledge handed down from generation to generation, farmers share a bit of this magic.

Mary Alice & Marika & the gang work really hard to be Sooke’s top food producing farm. As she says in the video, you have to be a business person, but there’s still always time for fun! I shot the video, recorded & edited the sound and edited the video in iMovie9. Thanks to my friend Neil McCann again for the great music and always grateful that my buddy Tim Smith helps rescue my voice recordings.
